The individuals were engaged in work at a private hotel construction site.
According to an official statement, around 20 teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), five teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and eight police units are actively involved in the ongoing relief and rescue efforts.

Officials have issued advisories advising pilgrims to remain in their current locations and refrain from traveling to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri until the situation improves.
The Yamnotri National Highway is blocked at Kuthnaur due to landslides and washouts from severe rainfall. Five JCB machines and workers are on-site to clear the road, with officials monitoring the progress.
Meanwhile, on the Gangotri National Highway, routes that were blocked at Lang, Dhang, Naluna, and Dabrani have been restored for traffic.
Arrangements for food and water supplies have been made for both travelers and rescue personnel.
In the meantime, Vikram Singh, the Director of the Dehradun weather office, indicated that heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated in several districts across Uttarakhand over the next two days.
A red alert has been issued for Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Haridwar, and Uddham Singh Nagar. An orange alert has also been issued for other districts for two days starting Sunday.
Singh has warned individuals living near water bodies to relocate to safer areas.
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also predicted for August 1 and 2,” he added.
As rivers rise dangerously close to their banks, authorities have issued a new advisory urging residents near rivers to stay vigilant and take all necessary precautions.
