Amaravati, June 8 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has voiced his profound shock regarding the unexpected passing of Maganti Gopinath, the MLA representing the Jubilee Hills constituency in Hyderabad.
The president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) stated that the news of Gopinath’s demise was a significant shock to him. He reminisced that Gopinath embarked on his political career with the TDP and had effectively held numerous positions.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Gopinath’s family. May his soul find eternal peace,” he expressed.
Gopinath passed away at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday, just three days after suffering a severe cardiac arrest.
A three-time MLA for Jubilee Hills, he was first elected as a TDP candidate in 2014. He later switched to BRS and successfully held the seat on the BRS ticket in both 2018 and 2023.
Andhra Pradesh's Education Minister, Nara Lokesh, also expressed his sorrow at the loss of Maganti Gopinath. The TDP general secretary mentioned it was heartbreaking to learn of Gopinath’s untimely death after a heart attack.
