Bhubaneswar, April 6 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi embarked on a two-day journey to Delhi on Sunday, where he will engage in crucial dialogues aimed at advancing Odisha towards enhanced industrial development and economic prosperity.
According to an announcement from the state government, during this two-day gathering, CM Majhi will communicate with various stakeholders and industry leaders, articulating the vision for Odisha's future and highlighting the reforms and initiatives implemented by the state government to foster a conducive investment environment.
“The state is set to finalize several important MoUs that will not only fortify the current industrial ecosystem but also draw substantial investments that will generate employment opportunities and stimulate economic progress in our state,” the announcement stated.
MoUs are expected to be signed with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Petronet LNG, and Indian Strategic Petrochemical Reserves Ltd, among others.
“These partnerships highlight the state’s dedication to transforming Odisha into a prominent hub for petrochemicals and chemicals, positioning the state as a vital contributor to the national strategy for sustainable development. With the aim of attracting diverse industrial investments, the CM will visit the HCL Tech campus in Noida, which signifies the progress Odisha needs to make in integrating technology and innovation into its industrial framework,” the government noted.
He will also participate in individual meetings with key industry leaders from various sectors, where he will explore potential collaborations that can further enrich Odisha's industrial scene.
“This visit is not just an event; it embodies a vital leap into a future brimming with opportunities for Odisha. The initiative to establish a robust industrial ecosystem in Odisha is driven by the vision of ‘Purvodaya’, heralding the revival of Eastern India, and the state is resolute in seizing this opportunity,” the statement concluded.
Official sources also indicated that CM Majhi is expected to return from the national capital on April 9.
