Bhopal, June 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to disburse Rs 150 crore in ex-gratia assistance through the Sambal Yojana in 6,821 cases with just a single click during a ceremony in Jabalpur this Friday.
The Sambal Yojana is a crucial welfare initiative aimed at supporting millions of workers in the unorganised sector across Madhya Pradesh. Since its launch, more than 1.76 crore workers have registered for the program, which is still open for new applicants. Under this scheme, the government compensates Rs 4 lakh for accidental deaths and Rs 2 lakh for natural deaths. Furthermore, beneficiaries receive Rs 2 lakh for permanent disabilities and Rs 1 lakh for partial permanent disabilities.
