The allegations against Shweta Khan, her son Aryan Khan, and her minor daughter Zoya Khan include keeping a woman from the North 24 Parganas district imprisoned for six months and subjecting her to brutal assaults with an iron rod after she declined to engage in pornographic video productions reportedly organized by the trio.

Given that Zoya is a minor, her case has been forwarded for processing under the Juvenile Justice Act and sent to the Juvenile Justice Board.

Earlier on Thursday morning, when Shweta Khan was transported to a rural hospital in Howrah for a medical examination, she communicated to the media that she had been falsely implicated and insisted that her version of events be considered.
Aryan has already rejected any involvement in the porn racket, claiming he had a relationship with the victim who was seeking to marry him.
On Wednesday, police intensified their efforts following the National Commission for Women (NCW) taking suo motu cognizance of the case and contacting West Bengal DGP Rajeev Kumar, calling for immediate arrests under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
The NCW also mandated that the state police guarantee the victim receives complimentary medical care and psychological support.
Moreover, the Commission has instructed the DGP to provide a detailed report of actions taken within three days.
