CM Mohan Yadav to Unveil 'Jan Kalyan Parv' Marking One Year in Office

Bhopal, Dec 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to kick off 'Jan Kalyan Parv' on Wednesday, celebrating the completion of one year of his governance.

The ruling BJP in the state will host a two-week-long event titled 'Jan Kalyan Parv' to showcase the developmental initiatives accomplished over the last year.

Chief Minister Yadav has instructed district administrations to arrange camps in blocks and gram panchayats to present the government's accomplishments.

“Officials will interact with citizens to inform them about the state's welfare programs and ensure that eligible individuals receive the benefits,” stated Chief Minister Yadav.

He has also encouraged his cabinet ministers and MLAs to conduct events in their respective Assembly constituencies.

Throughout this 'Jan Seva Parv', ministers and MLAs will guarantee that public welfare initiatives reach every ward and village.

Chief Minister Yadav mentioned that the people have gained from the state's 56 welfare schemes launched in the last year.

Significantly, following a decisive win in the state Assembly elections held on November 17, 2023, the BJP's central leadership appointed Mohan Yadav as the new Chief Minister, replacing former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Mohan Yadav, a three-time BJP MLA from the temple town of Ujjain, took his oath as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on December 13, 2023.

Chouhan, who was elected as a Lok Sabha MP from Vidisha, currently serves as the Union Agriculture Minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet.

The BJP triumphed in Madhya Pradesh by securing 163 seats out of the 230-member Assembly, while Congress fell to 66 seats compared to their previous 114 seats in the 2018 Assembly elections.

On Tuesday, CM Yadav met with Prime Minister Modi at the Parliament House to discuss various welfare schemes being implemented in the state and sought his guidance.

Additionally, he sought PM Modi's blessings as he completes one year in office in Madhya Pradesh.
