During her address, CM Rekha Gupta referred to Dr B.R. Ambedkar as a visionary leader who established the groundwork for modern India.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Gupta marked this occasion by sending warm wishes to the populace. "On this day of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, I send my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all citizens across the country and to the people of Delhi," he expressed.

Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa also paid tribute to Dr Ambedkar, highlighting his influence on empowering the populace. On his birth anniversary, I extend my deepest respects to this great hero," he remarked.

This tribute event saw participation from various Delhi legislators and local residents, reinforcing Babasaheb’s lasting legacy as a beacon of equality, justice, and empowerment.

Earlier in the day, CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated a new road in Haiderpur village, aimed at alleviating long-standing congestion issues.

While addressing local residents, she stated, "I wish to communicate this message to all the people in the area and throughout the city as well: now, Delhi will receive everything you deserve. For years, you have faced dissatisfaction and distress, constantly seeking justice, but no one listened. Today, this road is open, allowing two vehicles to pass simultaneously."

She acknowledged that while some residents may have endured inconveniences during the construction of the project in recent years, it was crucial for the public good.

"Indeed, some may have been frustrated, but this is for everyone’s advantage. It’s for the greater good that this road, previously blocked by shops, is now clear," she concluded.
