This initiative is designed to acknowledge the hard work of employees and uplift morale as the festive season approaches.
In an official statement, CM Stalin noted that this decision is part of the state's dedication to support its workforce and foster enhanced performance within Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
The directive applies to employees categorized under ‘C’ and ‘D’, who are essential to the operations of these entities.

For those employed in PSUs that do not yield allocable surplus, the state still plans to offer assistance — they will receive a minimum of 8.33 percent as a bonus, plus 1.67 percent ex-gratia, totaling 10 percent.
