Chennai, July 5 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, on Saturday conveyed his profound condolences regarding the passing of distinguished Tamil scholar Perungkavikko V.M. Sethuraman and esteemed industrialist Janab Haji Malak Mohamed Hashim Sahib.
In two individual statements, CM Stalin highlighted the substantial contributions made by both individuals in their respective domains.
While paying homage to V.M. Sethuraman, CM Stalin remarked that the scholar devoted his life to the advancement and promotion of the Tamil language.
“Sethuraman’s literary works, particularly his contributions to Murasoli, the ideological voice of the DMK, greatly enriched the Tamil literary landscape,” the Chief Minister noted.
He mentioned that Sethuraman had received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Kalaimamani and Thiruvalluvar awards from the Tamil Nadu government.
