Chennai, June 15 (NationPress) Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commended the Tamil Nadu School Education Department and the teaching community for their essential contributions to achieving zero school dropouts across the state in the past four years.

In a post on social media, the Chief Minister hailed this accomplishment as a remarkable milestone in the educational progress of the state and invited the public to collaborate with the government in maintaining this success.

CM Stalin urged community members to actively identify children who may have left school in their areas. “Help them understand that there is no greater wealth than education,” he emphasized.

Stressing the significance of collective responsibility, he encouraged individuals to raise awareness about the state’s inclusive educational programs, specifically aimed at bringing every child back to school.

The Chief Minister outlined various key initiatives by the government to improve access to quality education. These include the Breakfast Scheme for students, the rollout of Smart Classrooms, the Naan Mudhalvan skill development program, and financial assistance initiatives like Pudhumai Penn for girls and Thamizh Pudhalvan for boys.

“These initiatives guarantee that no child is overlooked and every student receives the support needed to finish their education,” CM Stalin remarked.

In a different post, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s dedication to the welfare of women, especially those in the police force.

He reminded the public of his earlier commitment that women police personnel returning from maternity leave would be allowed to transfer to locations of their choice, facilitating a balance between family and work obligations.

“The Dravidian Model government will persist in protecting the interests and welfare of women who aspire to make a significant impact in their fields,” he asserted.
