CM Yogi: Ram Temple to Inspire All Centers of Sanatan Dharma

Ayodhya, Jan 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, attended the first anniversary of Ram Lalla's Pran-Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) at the magnificent Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Saturday and sought the blessings of Lord Ram.

He emphasized that truth cannot remain concealed indefinitely, stating: "Today, both the nation and the world observe the magnificent temple of Lord Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, serving as a testament to that truth."

He pointed out that the construction of this grand temple conveys a strong message to oppressed civilizations and cultures globally, asserting that rights can be regained through democratic and constitutional methods.

"In spite of numerous sacrifices for Ram Janmabhoomi and enduring an ‘Agnipariksha’ with steadfast values, patience remained central to this endeavor. It is a path we are all expected to embrace," he remarked.

During the event at Angad Tila, the Chief Minister lit a lamp and paid floral tributes to the image of Shri Ram Lalla. He also honored Ashok Singhal.

According to the Hindu calendar, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has organized a three-day event as part of Pratishtha-Dwadashi to celebrate the first anniversary of the Pran-Pratishtha of Lord Ram Lalla's idol at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

He stated: "On December 22, 1949, Ram Lalla revealed himself at his birthplace, marking the start of a long and challenging journey. Today, after one year of Pran-Pratishtha, we gather here filled with pride and joy, rejoicing in this auspicious event. Numerous significant dates followed, during which every Indian exhibited patience and dignity while undergoing the Agnipariksha. However, the steadfast aim remained to establish Lord Shri Ram's rightful place."

He reflected on the historic milestones leading to this moment.

“On November 9, 2019, the judiciary unanimously ruled that the site of the disputed structure in Ayodhya is indeed Ram Janmabhoomi, directing the formation of a trust to facilitate the construction of this grand temple.”

He added: "On August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya Dham to inaugurate the grand temple program for Lord Ram. Ultimately, on January 22, 2024 (Paush Shukla Dwadashi), PM Modi, in the presence of saints and leaders from across the nation, concluded a 500-year wait by consecrating Ram Lalla at His birthplace."

Yogi Adityanath remarked that Ayodhya has now truly reclaimed its identity as Ayodhya.

"The capital of Suryavansh, Ayodhya, has transformed into the country’s first solar city. This is the new Uttar Pradesh of a new India, and the new Ayodhya of this Uttar Pradesh is uniting the entire nation with the pride of being a sacred pilgrimage site."

He underscored that this transformation was not achieved in a day but was the result of a long and arduous struggle.

"Generations have passed with a singular wish -- to see Lord Ram Lalla seated in Ayodhya. While many saints and devotees departed without seeing this dream realized, their resolve never wavered. We are fortunate to witness this historic moment with our own eyes."

He also mentioned that three generations of his family had participated in this movement.

"Though I never met Pujya Mahant Digvijaynath Maharaj, I have heard countless stories from Pujya Gurudev. I recall 2014, when Pujya Gurudev was nearing his last moments, he engaged in a final discussion with Ashok Singhal ji in the hospital. For many days, Guruji couldn’t speak, but as I gazed at Ashok ji, he finally asked, ‘The Ram Mandir will be constructed, correct?’ Ashok ji assured him, ‘Recover well, the temple will undoubtedly be built.’ A few days later, Guruji departed from this world.”

The Chief Minister emphasized that for four years, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust worked diligently, disregarding day or night, sunshine or rain. Their singular goal was to give the temple a magnificent form while linking it with the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla.

"Preparations were made to accommodate millions of Ram devotees. The Trust works tirelessly, around the clock, to fulfill the desires of the devotees. Once the entire complex is completed, it will establish a standard for how places of Sanatan Dharma should be constructed. This grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi will become a new source of inspiration for all sites of Sanatan Dharma.

The Chief Minister shared that during the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony, Prime Minister Modi urged the nation, stating, "Lord Ram is the emblem of the nation. If there is Ram, there is a nation, and if there is a nation, there is Ram. Both are inseparable and enhance one another."

He further accentuated that India exists today because of these deities, and under the stewardship of PM Modi, a new India is being crafted.

"It is our collective duty to partake in this campaign," added the CM.
