Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Readies for the First Anniversary of Ram Lala Idol's Pran Pratishtha

Ayodhya, Dec 2 (NationPress) The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is preparing to honor the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha (sanctification) of the Ram Lala idol, which was conducted on January 22 of this year. This significant occasion was officiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with various other dignitaries.

In an announcement made on Monday, the trust revealed plans to ceremonially celebrate this day as Pratishtha Dwadashi. The statement from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra expressed, “The Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar in the Mandir is now approaching its first anniversary. The trust has devised a plan to ceremoniously observe this day as Pratishtha Dwadashi.

The trust further reported on the progress of the temple's construction, noting that the remaining work on the complex has gained substantial momentum.

The ongoing construction of the mandir complex is progressing well. Among the temples being developed within the area are the Shiv Mandir, Surya Mandir, Durga Mata Mandir, Ganpati Mandir, Annapurna Mandir, and Hanuman Mandir. Some of these structures are becoming distinctly visible, while the construction of others is advancing swiftly.

Additionally, the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’s shikhar is nearing completion, and the progress of the construction has become increasingly apparent,” the statement elaborated.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony conducted earlier this year was a historic event, attended by more than 7,000 guests. Dignitaries from various spiritual and religious factions, tribal communities, notable figures, and prominent industrialists participated in the celebrations, illustrating India's rich diversity and unity.

During his speech at the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi referred to the event as a “historic moment,” representing the nation’s trajectory from overcoming a “complicated past” to a promising future. He underscored the importance of the temple as a unifying element for the country.

The construction of the Ram Mandir follows a lengthy legal and socio-political battle. In November 2019, a five-member bench of the Supreme Court delivered a pivotal ruling, allocating the disputed land to a trust for the temple’s construction. The foundation stone for the temple was laid by Prime Minister Modi on August 5, 2020, marking a significant milestone in realizing a centuries-old dream.
