New Delhi, May 2 (NationPress) The first floor of Ayodhya's Ram Temple is set to open to visitors shortly after the Pran Pratistha ceremony kicks off on June 3.
The Pran Pratistha of Ram Darbar will take place from June 3 to June 5.
Unlike the previous grand consecration that saw Ram Lalla positioned in the sanctum sanctorum, the first floor will showcase Lord Ram in his royal form.
A magnificent Ram Darbar is being established on the first floor, featuring the installation of 18 idols alongside Lord Ram, expected to occur on May 23.
Nripendra Mishra, the Chairman of the Construction Committee for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, visited Ayodhya on Friday to review ongoing construction efforts at the site.
Following his inspection, he informed the press: “The principal temple is anticipated to be ready by August or September, with the Parakota expected in November.”
He further revealed that the idol installations have commenced in the Parakota and Sapta Mandirs.
“The idols of Ram Darbar are set to be placed in the sanctum sanctorum on May 23, with the idol of Laxman ji also arriving for installation in the Sheshavtar temple by May 30,” he stated.
In addition, he mentioned that the temple trust has established certain guidelines to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for the pilgrims.
“A maximum of 750 devotees will receive passes each day to visit the Ram Darbar on the first floor of the Ram Mandir. Of these, 50 passes will be available on a 'first come, first served' basis,” he noted.
Nripendra Mishra added that, aside from the boundary and auditorium of the Ram Temple, all construction within the temple complex is expected to conclude by December 2025.
Once the Yatri Suvidha Kendra and STP developed by the Bhawan Nirman Samiti are completed, they will be transferred to the Ram Mandir Trust.
The main temple is scheduled for handover in the last week of August, with the Parakota transferred to the Ram Mandir Trust at the end of November.
