Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), March 21 (NationPress) The Chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee for the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Nripendra Misra, announced on Saturday that while the construction of the Ram Temple has been completed, the focus now shifts towards fulfilling compliance requirements by the end of April.
These comments were made ahead of an important meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust scheduled for Saturday in Ayodhya. This meeting is anticipated to finalize several vital decisions related to temple operations and arrangements for visitors.
Misra informed the media, "The current evaluation concentrates on confirming vendor payments and ensuring all necessary building documentation has been submitted to the Trust. There are around 50 issues currently under scrutiny. Our aim is to accurately address all concerns and achieve compliance by the end of April."
He further stated, "As I mentioned previously, the key personnel and project engineers from both Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and Tata will have their new roles and responsibilities established by the end of April."
Misra emphasized that the construction of the temple's boundary wall is of utmost importance.
He noted, "The boundary wall, whose construction was thoroughly inspected yesterday, is critical as it directly relates to safety. The police department also periodically provides input regarding necessary improvements."
Regarding the installation of watch towers for enhanced security, Misra remarked, "We inspected a model watch tower yesterday. A total of 25 watch towers are to be constructed based on this design, which has received approval."
He also highlighted progress at the Ayodhya temple museum.
"We are primarily focusing on two aspects at the museum: the script and the technology. A committee has been established for inspection, and we will verify if it has approved the script. Today, we aim to finalize these aspects so that we can proceed with the tender process," Misra explained.
One of the main topics likely to be addressed in the meeting is the arrangements for darshan at the seven auxiliary temples within the complex. These include the Sapt Rishi temples located along the parikrama path, which are expected to be accessible to devotees following the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations.
The Trust is also anticipated to decide on the organization of religious ceremonies and events moving forward. Sources suggest that large-scale events may be minimized in favor of simpler, more traditional rituals.
Flag-hoisting ceremonies at the seven temples are expected to be conducted in a more restrained manner, maintaining the spiritual sanctity of the site.
