The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Thursday, 23 July released a fresh set of photographs of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, documenting the continued and uninterrupted flow of devotees who arrive daily to offer prayers to Ram Lalla. The images, shared publicly by the Trust, show pilgrims entering the temple premises, participating in darshan, and moving through the expansive complex in what the Trust described as a deeply devotional atmosphere.

Trust Pushes Back Against Controversy

The photo release follows a press conference held on Wednesday, 22 July, at which Interim General Secretary Krishna Mohan stated that footfall at the temple has remained stable. 'Despite all the propaganda and exaggerated allegations, the number of devotees visiting the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple remains unchanged. This is proof that the faith and belief of millions of Ram devotees remain unwavering despite baseless, false, and misleading allegations,' he said.

The Trust reiterated in an official statement that the steady pilgrim stream demonstrates the faith of millions of devotees has not been shaken by the allegations — an apparent reference to a donation embezzlement controversy that has drawn public scrutiny in recent weeks.

CEO Appointment Deferred by a Month

Separately, the Trust held a key administrative meeting in Ayodhya on Wednesday to deliberate on several governance matters, including the selection of its first-ever Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Board decided to defer the appointment by approximately one month after the selection committee sought additional time to review the large volume of applications received for the post.

According to the Trust, the committee is currently verifying eligibility and shortlisting candidates based on their credentials. The Board accepted the request, citing the importance of making a careful and considered selection for the landmark role.

Key Administrative Appointments Finalised

In a separate resolution at the same meeting, the Trust finalised the appointment of a full-time General Secretary and named an official spokesperson — moves aimed at strengthening its communication capacity amid the ongoing embezzlement controversy. The Trust also reconstituted its religious committee to preserve the traditional authenticity and sanctity of rituals and worship at the temple.

The administrative decisions come at a sensitive moment for the Trust, which has faced public criticism over alleged financial irregularities. The simultaneous effort to shore up communications and tighten ritual oversight suggests the Trust is moving to consolidate institutional credibility.
