Ayodhya, Nov 25 (NationPress) Among the immediate priorities for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust are plans for a magnificent museum, a cutting-edge auditorium, and ample guest accommodations, as revealed by General Secretary Champat Rai during a press briefing on Tuesday.
The announcement regarding these forthcoming initiatives followed the historic 'dhwajarohan ceremony' held at the grand Ram Temple on Tuesday, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
While speaking with IANS, Champat Rai shared details about the future developments at the Ram Temple, emphasizing the Trust's commitment to closely monitor the construction of both the museum and auditorium. He elaborated on how these additions would enhance the significance of one of the most venerated Hindu pilgrimage sites.
"We are currently erecting boundary walls, constructing a guest house, and developing an auditorium and museum. These projects are underway and will take a couple of years to complete," stated the General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to IANS.
Regarding the flag-hoisting ceremony, Rai described the occasion as both grand and dignified, leaving all attendees emotionally moved.
When questioned about his absence from the guest list and advertisements for welcoming Prime Minister Modi to Ayodhya, Rai responded, "I chose to take a back seat. I was exactly where I needed to be. Everyone else has a different perspective."
Rai emphasized that personal recognition is not significant to him, stating that the primary aim is the construction of the temple and enhancing the pilgrimage experience at the shrine.
He concluded by affirming that the construction and associated activities are progressing systematically, positioning Ayodhya as a new spiritual hub and creating a distinctive global identity for the city.
