Ayodhya, Nov 24 (NationPress) The historic city of Ayodhya is set for vibrant celebrations on Tuesday, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to raise the 'Dharma Dhwaj' (religious flag) at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, in the company of numerous seers, saints, and distinguished guests.
The flag-raising ceremony signifies the completion of the magnificent Ram Mandir's construction in Ayodhya. Over 7,000 notable individuals are expected to witness this grand religious event.
In anticipation of the ceremony, various saints and members of the Teerth Kshetra Trust have expressed their commendations for the Prime Minister, heralding the occasion as 'historic.'
Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, remarked, "The Prime Minister, while leading the government, has consistently championed the cause of the Ram Temple. Our interactions with him reflect his respect and receptiveness to our insights. We have faith in his leadership and wisdom."
In a critique of opposition leaders, he noted, "Recall those who questioned whether the temple's construction would alleviate poverty or boost commerce? The transformation of Ayodhya's economy since the temple's construction began is a powerful response to such skepticism."
Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, announced that the flag will be hoisted at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Notable attendees will include Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
He added that thousands of saints from eastern Uttar Pradesh have been invited, with around 7,000 attendees expected at the flag hoisting ceremony.
Gopal Rao, a special invitee of the Trust, shared that a 'havan' (fire ritual) has been ongoing in the Yagna Mandap for four days leading up to the flag-raising ceremony. Approximately 100 priests are conducting the rituals, while 30 participants are engaged in various ceremonies across different locations.
