New Delhi, Nov 24 (NationPress) A palpable sense of anticipation fills Ayodhya as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares for his visit on Tuesday morning to conduct the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Expected to arrive at approximately 9:30 a.m., locals express that this moment signifies the realization of a dream that has endured for centuries.
Residents regard November 25 as a day of immense pride for adherents of Sanatan Dharma around the globe. Many feel that the construction of the Ram Temple not only represents a spiritual milestone but also embodies a pivotal achievement for India's cultural heritage.
In an interview with IANS, local inhabitant Gyanprakash Dubey remarked that this event is “a significant moment” for followers of Sanatan Dharma worldwide, stating, “As long as the Ram Temple stands, Prime Minister Modi’s name will be eternally linked with it. The progress in Ayodhya is remarkable.”
Another resident, Siddhant Dubey, noted that the Ram Temple has achieved what many viewed as a 500-year-old aspiration. “This became a reality because of PM Modi. Sanatan has triumphed. The youth are thriving. Employment opportunities are flourishing, and many young individuals are contributing to the development of Ayodhya,” he shared.
Locals have also commended the city’s swift transformation, highlighting significant enhancements in transportation, the railway station, riverfront ghats, and overall urban modernization. Many characterized the development as “beyond excellent,” attributing the revitalization of Ayodhya’s cultural roots and the establishment of world-class infrastructure to the government.
Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, announced that the flag will be raised atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Notable figures such as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend this historic event.
He further shared that thousands of saints from eastern Uttar Pradesh have been invited, with approximately 7,000 attendees expected for the 'Dhwaj' hoisting ceremony.
Gopal Rao, a special guest of the Trust, explained that a 'havan' (fire ritual) has been underway in the Yagna Mandap for the past four days leading up to the flag-hoisting ceremony on Tuesday. Around 100 priests are conducting the ritual, with 30 individuals participating in various ceremonies across different locations.
