Ayodhya, Nov 24 (NationPress) The sacred city of Ayodhya is preparing for an extraordinary celebration as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive on November 25 for a significant flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Preparations are bustling throughout the city. Streets are being meticulously cleaned, new stop signs are being erected, and sanitation teams are engaged in extensive maintenance efforts.

Posters of Prime Minister Modi have been displayed prominently at various key locations, heightening the atmosphere of excitement. At the entrance of the Ram Temple, an inscription declares, “Jati Pati Puche Nahi Koi, Hari Ka Bhaje So Hari Ka Hoi,” encapsulating the spirit of devotion that permeates this occasion.

The city is adorned with festive lights, decorative structures, and augmented security measures. This ceremony signifies another important chapter for Ayodhya, which has undergone significant changes since the commencement of the Ram Temple construction. Residents, shopkeepers, and visitors describe a vibrant ambiance, with many eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Prime Minister.

Security protocols have been considerably tightened in anticipation of the event. All CCTV cameras in the area are operational, with additional units deployed in sensitive areas susceptible to unauthorized access. The Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) is maintaining vigilant surveillance, while officers are conducting routine patrols.

The Superintendent of Police reported that verification drives are currently ongoing in slum areas and temporary settlements near the borders, where residents’ identification documents are being meticulously checked.

Temple authorities have declared that this year's celebrations will be particularly grand. Subordinate temples dedicated to Lord Mahadev, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, Maa Annapurna, and Sheshavatar will be lavishly decorated alongside the main shrine.

The rituals will be conducted by 108 Acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India, under the supervision of renowned Kashi scholar Ganeshwar Shastri. A saffron flag emblazoned with the symbol of the Sun — representing eternal energy, divine radiance, virtue, and enlightenment, all attributes associated with Lord Ram — will be hoisted during the ceremony.

Prime Minister Modi, who presided over the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2024, will again lead the rituals in the company of saints, dignitaries, and trust members. The trust expects nearly 6,000 invited guests for this historic occasion.

Meanwhile, shopkeepers, transport operators, eateries, and homestays throughout Ayodhya report a surge in demand, marking this as one of the busiest periods since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
