Ayodhya, Nov 10 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh is preparing for an event of immense significance and symbolic importance in its recent history, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to raise the Dhwaj (flag) at the pinnacle of the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25.

The flag, as indicated by temple officials, will be saffron in color and will feature the emblem of the Sun, symbolizing the eternal energy and glory linked to Lord Ram.

In a statement to the media, Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra mentioned, "Preparations and discussions are centered around the Prime Minister's visit. We are making the necessary arrangements to ensure he can tour the temple grounds and assess the ongoing construction efforts. The final plan will incorporate recommendations from the Prime Minister's Office."

The primary temple structure, along with six subsidiary shrines dedicated to Lords Mahadev, Ganesh, Hanuman, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, Maa Annapurna, and Sheshavatar, has reached completion.

"Most of the work is finished. Our current focus is on enhancing the temple surroundings, including landscaping," Mishra added.

Regarding the impending flag-hoisting ceremony, he stated, "We are aiming for the flag to be raised atop the temple's main spire, and specific technical aspects are being reviewed. Experts from the Defence Ministry specializing in such tasks are assisting to ensure the ceremony on November 25 proceeds without complications."

Ayodhya's urban evolution has also taken form around the temple's spiritual and cultural significance. The newly constructed 'Ram Path', 'Bhakti Path', and 'Dharma Path' have been designed to lead devotees effortlessly from the city's periphery to the temple's sanctum, weaving the narrative of Lord Ram into the very core of the city's contemporary layout.

The government's investment in Ayodhya and its pilgrimage infrastructure has been substantial.

An allocation of Rs 4,560 crore has been designated to enhance and strengthen roadways connecting key religious sites such as Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, Chitrakoot, and Prayagraj.

Moreover, Rs 4,200 crore has been set aside for the development of the Buddhist Circuit, covering Sarnath, Kushinagar, Shravasti, Kaushambi, and other significant stupas and tirthas throughout the state.

The ceremony on November 25 is anticipated to be a moment of deep cultural and historical significance, merging spirituality with the vision of a modern, evolving Ayodhya, highlighting the integration of devotion and development.
