Is Ayodhya's Rama Temple Ready for a Grand Ceremony on June 5?

New Delhi, May 21 (NationPress) The magnificent structure of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is on the brink of completion and is expected to be fully finished by June 5, marking yet another significant spiritual milestone in this revered city.

In the wake of the consecration ceremony, a newly finished area of the temple will be accessible for public worship within a week, as stated by Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Construction Committee.

The esteemed ritual known as ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Darbar is scheduled to occur from June 3 to June 5, during which the divine presence will be infused into the idols of Lord Ram and his entourage. Spiritual leaders from various traditions will be invited to participate in this sanctification at the Ram Temple, paying their respects during this historic event on June 5.

However, Mishra has confirmed that officials from both the central and state governments will not attend the solemn proceedings. The consecration of 14 temples within the expansive Ram Temple complex is set for June 5, coinciding with the auspicious Ganga Dussehra festival. This celebration will be preceded by a grand three-day observance from June 3 to June 5, enveloping the sacred grounds in ritualistic devotion and spiritual magnificence.

Moreover, the initial rites will commence on May 30, with the installation of the revered Shiva Lingam in the dedicated Shiv Temple, a pivotal aspect of the complex’s spiritual design. The sanctification ceremonies will be overseen by a distinguished group of 101 Vedic scholars from Kashi and Ayodhya. These esteemed guardians of tradition will lead the worship at the ‘Yagyashala’, recite verses from the Valmiki Ramayana, chant sacred mantras, and deliver readings from the four Vedas, ensuring that every ritual is conducted with the utmost sanctity and precision.

The idols will be enshrined upon beautifully crafted marble thrones, each measuring two feet in height and specifically designed for their consecration within their respective temples. According to the temple trust, these divine installations will represent the zenith of sacred craftsmanship and devotion.

Among the temples to be consecrated, six hold particular significance within the main area of the complex. These divine abodes are dedicated to Lord Shiva, the glorious Sun God, the powerful Ganapati, the ever-present Hanuman, Goddess Bhagwati, and Goddess Annapurna. Through this extraordinary consecration, the celestial essence of Ayodhya will be further enshrined, attracting devotees from across the nation to witness this unparalleled chapter in the temple’s history.
