Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Celebrates 1st Anniversary of 'Pran Pratistha' at Ram Mandir

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant visit to the majestic Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Saturday, seeking the blessings of Ram Lalla.
This visit is particularly meaningful as it coincides with the celebration of the first anniversary of the Pran Pratistha (consecration ceremony) of Ram Lalla.
Yogi Adityanath expressed his joy at being in this holy city on such a special occasion.
“I feel blessed to be in Avadh, known for its association with Ram, as we commemorate the first anniversary of the Pran Pratistha of Lord Shri Ramlala Sarkar at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Victory to Lord Ram!” he shared on X.
The celebrations marking the one-year anniversary will persist until January 13, featuring various rituals, prayers, and cultural activities, with hundreds of devotees and saints participating in honoring Lord Ram.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed heartfelt wishes to the nation on this significant occasion, stating that the “Ram Mandir represents a profound heritage of India’s culture and spirituality, built over centuries of dedication and struggle.”
The grand inauguration of the Ram Temple took place on January 22, 2024, in a lavish ceremony attended by numerous distinguished guests and devotees.
Though the first anniversary would typically fall on January 22, it is celebrated on January 11 due to an adjustment in the dates according to the Hindu calendar.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust clarified that Hindu festivals and rituals are traditionally observed based on this calendar.
“The Pran Pratistha ceremony was conducted on Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi, also known as Kurma Dwadashi. In 2025, this date corresponds to January 11, thus the decision to celebrate the anniversary on this day,” it stated.
The Ram temple in Ayodhya is expected to be completed by June 2025, although some reports indicate that completion may be delayed until September 2025 due to unforeseen construction delays.
