Patna, March 18 (NationPress) As the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections approach, the Congress party has taken significant steps by appointing seven essential officials to enhance its media and publicity strategies.
In a letter released on March 17 (Monday) by the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Wing, the party has designated a national media coordinator, two research coordinators, and four other coordinators.
According to the announcement, Abhay Dubey has been appointed as the national media coordinator, while Priyanka Gupta, Prakash Meena, Ritu Singh, Teena Karamveer are the coordinators, and Jyoti Kumar Singh and Satyendra Singh Raghav will serve as research coordinators.
This initiative represents a tactical effort to bolster the party’s media operations and grassroots engagement.
The newly appointed media officials will collaborate closely with the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) to ensure effective management of media and publicity tasks.
This strategy is perceived as a means to enhance communication and elevate the visibility of Congress in Bihar. Earlier, a significant organizational shift saw the central leadership appoint Krishna Allavaru as the new Bihar in-charge, indicating a renewed strategy.
Additionally, Alka Lamba, the National Women’s Congress President, has been charged with mobilizing women voters in the state. Both Krishna Allavaru and Alka Lamba are actively visiting Bihar to engage with party activists, local leaders, and women’s organizations.
Their initiatives reflect a committed effort to rejuvenate the party's foundation, challenge the influence of BJP-JDU, and gear up for a vigorous electoral contest in 2025.
Through leadership transitions, media enhancement, and grassroots mobilization, Congress is establishing a strong base for an assertive campaign in Bihar.
The recent appointments indicate that Congress is focused on fortifying its media outreach and public messaging, improving research and data analysis to counter opposing narratives, and structuring an effective election campaign to elevate its presence in Bihar.
The party’s upcoming strategies will be pivotal as it seeks to reclaim lost ground in the state.
