New Delhi, Dec 13 (NationPress) BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain delivered a pointed critique of the Congress party on Saturday, asserting that signs of dissent are surfacing among its ranks. He argued that these internal conflicts stem from a recognition that the party's consistent electoral failures are attributed to ineffective leadership and misguided policies, rather than external circumstances like EVMs or SIR.

In an interview with IANS, Hussain stated, “Dissenting voices are starting to emerge from within Congress. Party leaders have come to understand that their losses are not due to EVMs or SIR, but are a result of their own leadership and policy failures.”

He emphasized that Congress is plagued by a void in leadership and a lack of clear ideology. “The Congress party lacks both coherent policies and effective leadership,” he remarked.

Referencing recent electoral disappointments, Hussain pointed out that the party's declining success has lowered the morale of its members. “After suffering a total loss of seats in Delhi, securing only six in Bihar, and facing defeats in Maharashtra and Haryana, many within Congress are beginning to question their faith in the party. This internal dissatisfaction is now surfacing publicly,” he noted.

The BJP spokesperson criticized Congress leadership for seeking excuses instead of reflecting on the reasons behind the public's rejection of the party. He asserted that the public's confidence in Congress has waned due to its inconsistent positions on national issues and its failure to present a credible governance alternative.

Commenting on recent statements by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Hussain strongly supported the call for patriotism. “Everyone should embrace a sense of patriotism. The nation is advancing, and progress cannot occur without it,” he remarked. He also criticized those who oppose national slogans. “There are individuals who resist saying ‘Vande Mataram’ and have issues with ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai. This cannot continue,” Hussain expressed.

During a program in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands commemorating the 115th anniversary of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar’s song ‘Sagar Pran Talamala’, Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the importance of prioritizing the nation above all else. He stated that this is a time to live for India, underlining that patriotism should be a guiding principle in daily actions and constructive contributions to the country.
