Kolkata, Dec 22 (NationPress) The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced on Monday the establishment of the disciplinary action committee and the manifesto committee for the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee.
Notably, the former President of the West Bengal Congress and five-time Lok Sabha MP, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, has not been assigned a prominent role in either committee, apart from being a special invitee for the manifesto committee.

The manifesto committee consists of 15 members, including Munish Tamang, Sukh Bilas Burma, Firoza Begum, Nirmal Kumar Bhadra, Chandan Ghosh, Shiladitya Halder, Prasenjit Bose, Sujit Patwari, Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Hasanuzzaman Bappa, SK Ehsan Khan, Sudip Majumder, Amitava Sinha, Santanu Roy Chowdhury, and Swaraj Mandi.
Besides Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the manifesto committee will also include special invitees such as Deepa Das Munshi, Isha Khan Chowdhury, Deba Prasad Roy, Abdul Mannan, Monoranjan Halder, Abhijit Mukherjee, Sunil Tirkey, Nepal Mahato, Mohit Sengupta, Ali Imran Ramz, Santosh Pathak, Sujoy Ghatak, Syed Mustafa, Gita Sardar, along with the heads of all fronts and departments.
