New Delhi, Jan 16 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, emphasized that achieving a 'Viksit Bharat' is a collective duty of all citizens. She affirmed that the state government is dedicated to ensuring that every young person acquires essential skills.

Her remarks were made on Thursday during the 'Samarth Bharat - Vichar Goshti' event, hosted by the Bhaorao Deoras Seva Nyas at the NDMC Convention Centre.

Driven by the legacy of service and nation-building of the esteemed Bhaorao Deoras ji, this organization has been dedicated for years to supporting the underprivileged and fostering social unity.

Distinguished attendees included Om Prakash Goyal, the President of the Bhaorao Deoras Seva Nyas, Krishna Gopal, Co-General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, along with other notable guests.

Chief Minister Gupta stated that this initiative is not just an event, but a crucial stride towards realizing the vision of “skilled youth paving the way for a capable India, and capable youth fortifying a strong India”.

She pointed out that linking the demographic advantage with skills and opportunities can inherently address many of the country's challenges.

Since 2014, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has embarked on a path that encompasses both basic needs and national growth.

“Programs like toilet construction, the Ujjwala Scheme, rural electrification, and educational reforms have established a robust foundation.”

“Skill development is also prioritized in this continuum. The expansion of the ITI network, modernization of institutions, and the new National Education Policy are significant advancements in this regard,” CM Gupta noted.

According to the Chief Minister, skill development serves not only as a pathway to employment but also as an effective strategy for crime prevention and social empowerment.

“When young individuals receive appropriate guidance, training, and opportunities, they are empowered to support their families with dignity and reintegrate into society.”

Commending the efforts of service organizations, CM Gupta remarked that true assistance goes beyond mere help; it fosters self-reliance among individuals.

“When society and the government collaborate, the dream of a self-reliant India can genuinely come to fruition.”

She conveyed that the Delhi government is persistently launching new initiatives to connect youth with skills.

Particularly, specialized centers are being established for children involved in juvenile offenses, where alongside providing shelter, skill training will be made mandatory, enabling them to reintegrate as empowered members of society.

The Chief Minister concluded that when the government fulfills its obligations, society extends its support, and elders offer their guidance, a promising future for the nation can be collectively assured.
