New Delhi, Jan 17 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, inaugurated three Ayushman Arogya Mandirs along with various development initiatives in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency on Saturday. These efforts are directed towards enhancing public healthcare, nutrition, and essential infrastructure in the locality.
As per an official announcement, the three new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs were launched at WP Block, VP Block (Pitampura), and Haiderpur.
Additionally, an Atal Canteen was inaugurated at the Nehru Camp, conveniently located near the Haiderpur Badli Mor Metro Station.
The Chief Minister also initiated the construction of Meenakshi Temple Road in Shalimar Bagh West (BB Block), as noted in the statement.
While speaking to the audience, CM Gupta expressed that the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs will guarantee residents access to free and quality healthcare services near their homes.
"These centers will offer doctor consultations, vital diagnostic services, medications, immunization, and primary treatment facilities, with particular emphasis on benefits for senior citizens, women, and children," she stated.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister mentioned that the new Atal Canteen at Badli Mor will serve hot and nutritious meals to those in need for a nominal fee of Rs 5, thereby promoting food security with dignity.
She added that the construction of Meenakshi Temple Road is expected to alleviate traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and enable smoother transportation, contributing positively to the area's development.
Highlighting the development strategy of the Delhi government, CM Gupta noted that the state is concurrently working on bolstering healthcare services, ensuring dignified living conditions for residents, and upgrading fundamental infrastructure.
