New Delhi, May 12 (NationPress) Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (L-G) V.K. Saxena expressed his disappointment on Monday regarding the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration's disregard for his previous recommendations aimed at enhancing the solar energy capacity of the state Assembly.
"I believe this significant and historic project was meant to be initiated by Speaker Vijender Gupta, as my earlier proposals for a larger solar facility in the Assembly were not given due consideration," stated L-G Saxena during the foundation stone laying ceremony for a 500 KW solar energy plant at the Delhi Assembly.
He emphasized that the message conveyed from the Assembly today indicates the Delhi government's commitment to embracing solar energy.
