New Delhi, May 28 (NationPress) The Delhi Police submitted a status report to the court on Wednesday regarding the issue of derogatory posts allegedly made by journalist Rana Ayyub, against whom an FIR has been lodged.
As per sources, the status report was presented in the Saket Court, where it was indicated that the details concerning Rana Ayyub's X account are still pending.
The authorities mentioned that once the information about the X account is received, they will continue their investigation.
Furthermore, the police noted that during their examination of the X account, the allegedly derogatory posts were identified.
Delhi Police stated that after they get a response from X, the investigation will proceed, and the case will be concluded.
Previously, the Saket Court had instructed the Delhi Police to file an FIR against Rana Ayyub.
