New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) In a remarkable achievement that underscores its focus on community welfare, the Dwarka District Police have successfully retrieved and returned more than 160 lost or stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners, further solidifying their pledge to serve the public effectively.

As per a formal announcement made on December 28, the Dwarka District Police framed this initiative under the banner of “Dedicated to Recovery & Service”, highlighting a series of successful recovery events where a significant number of lost mobile devices have been returned to citizens.

The press release emphasized, “Once again, the Dwarka District Police mark a significant milestone by returning over 160 lost or stolen mobile phones to their owners”.

The event for returning the retrieved devices took place on December 26, led by DCP Dwarka District, Ankit Singh, at the Conference Hall located within the DCP Dwarka District office complex. During the event, over 160 mobile phones were distributed to individuals who had either misplaced them or had them stolen. Notably, this follows a similar event on December 23, where the police had successfully returned over 270 mobile phones, providing relief to numerous residents.

In highlighting the positive outcomes of this initiative, the press release stated: “On 26.12.2025, the Dwarka District Police once again brought smiles to over 160 individuals who had lost their mobile phones and were thrilled to receive them back.”

The recoveries were executed by the Monitoring Cell of Dwarka District, which diligently traced the lost and stolen mobile phones and contacted the legitimate owners for their return. This dedicated team operated under the guidance of ASI Jai Bhagwan, with support from a group of head constables and constables who played an essential role in the tracking and recovery process.

The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, including DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh and Additional DCP Dwarka Saurabh Chandra, alongside members of the Monitoring Cell. During the event, the DCP commended the team's efforts and encouraged the continuation of such recovery programs regularly.
