New Delhi, July 21 (NationPress) Dhirubhai, a resident of Ghaziabad's Loni, has captivated both pilgrims and the general public with his extraordinary Kanwar Yatra.
Being a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, he is transporting 75 litres of Ganga water, each representing 75 flagship initiatives of the Modi government.
Dhirubhai expressed to IANS his unwavering support for various welfare programs initiated by the Modi government, stating this pilgrimage is his way of demonstrating that support.
“This act also commemorates Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday. It aims to reinforce the commitment towards a developed India,” he remarked.
Dhirubhai has inscribed the names of 75 Central government schemes on the 75 cans of Gangajal he collected on July 17.
He expressed his desire to meet the Prime Minister following his Jalabhishek at the Dudheshwar Nath temple in Ghaziabad, hoping for a chance to visit the Prime Minister at his residence.
He covered 40 kilometres on the first day and continues to travel 30-35 kilometres daily. He noted that since PM Modi's mother is not present for his 75th birthday, he believes this pilgrimage represents Maa Ganga's blessings for him.
Dhirubhai had a cart crafted in Haridwar, with the names of various schemes displayed prominently on it along with posters. The cart showcases details about 75 major schemes of the Modi government.
One side of the cart features images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with visuals from surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor.
The opposite side portrays a photo of PM Modi alongside Lord Shiva, with the phrase 'A pot of Ganga water in the name of developed India' drawing significant attention.
