The Finnish Embassy in India marked the festive occasion with a lively quiz, a delightful lunch, and traditional dance. In their message of goodwill, they shared a video showcasing embassy officials enjoying the festivities.
"Happy Diwali from Team Finland in India! We celebrated with a festive quiz, a delicious lunch, and some lively dance moves — a wonderful moment of togetherness where Finnish diplomats and local colleagues celebrated side by side," the embassy tweeted.
Officials from the Israeli Embassy engaged in Diwali shopping, purchasing flowers and lamps. They also created rangoli designs at the embassy and conveyed their best wishes for the occasion.
"This Diwali, our diplomats went Diya and Decor shopping! May our homes be filled with love and light, today and every day! Happy Diwali," the Israeli Embassy announced on social media.
In a response, spokesperson Guy Nir expressed his joy in celebrating Diwali, which included indulging in delicious food and sweets, as well as dance and laughter.
