Mumbai, March 25 (NationPress) A new FIR has been lodged against Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, and several others in connection with the death of Disha Salian, as stated by her father’s lawyer on Tuesday.
Attorney Nilesh Ojha, representing Satish Salian, submitted a fresh FIR regarding her death. Ojha indicated that a formal complaint was directed to the police commissioner, which includes the names of Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Suraj Pancholi.
As per Ojha, the police commissioner’s office accepted the complaint, which has been integrated into the FIR. He elaborated that Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, along with his bodyguard, Parambir Singh, Sachin Vaze, and Rhea Chakraborty are all implicated in the FIR.
Ojha accused Parambir Singh of orchestrating the cover-up. He remarked, “Parambir Singh held a press conference and crafted falsehoods to protect Aaditya Thackeray. The NCB’s investigation indicates Aaditya Thackeray was involved in drug activities, as cited in the FIR.”
Furthermore, Ojha claimed that former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his associates conspired to obscure this grave crime. Certain senior law enforcement officials were also implicated for misusing police and government resources, fabricating police records, silencing witnesses, and attempting to conceal incriminating evidence.
“I earnestly urge that all of these actions be prosecuted immediately under sections 376(D), 302, 409, 120(B), 107, 109, 166, 167, and other relevant sections of the IPC, and that stringent actions be enforced against the accused,” stated Ojha.
This action follows Satish Salian’s recent petition to the high court requesting a CBI inquiry into his daughter’s demise. He alleged that Disha was raped and murdered, naming Aaditya Thackeray in the petition.
Disha Salian, the former manager of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically passed away on June 8, 2020, after reportedly falling from the 14th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai. Initially, the Mumbai Police classified it as an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Six days later, Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead at his residence in Bandra. While the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the actor’s death investigation, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed by the Maharashtra government in 2023 to probe Disha’s death.
