Mumbai/New Delhi, April 2 (NationPress) The Bombay High Court is scheduled to hear a writ petition on Wednesday submitted by the father of the late Disha Salian, a former celebrity manager, regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.

The petition, lodged by Satish Salian, seeks a renewed investigation into his daughter's death and the interrogation of several influential individuals.

In his petition, Satish Salian asserts that Disha was both raped and murdered. Notably, five years prior, he had maintained that she was not a victim of such crimes.

When approached by the press, Satish Salian's lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, stated that “the grieving father was influenced by specific political figures and law enforcement officials aiming to protect the son of a prominent politician.”

On March 25, Ojha submitted a new FIR related to Disha’s death.

He indicated that a formal complaint was directed to the police commissioner, and the FIR implicates names including Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Suraj Pancholi.

According to Ojha, “Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, his bodyguard, Parambir Singh, Sachin Vaze, and Rhea Chakraborty are all identified as suspects in the FIR.”

Ojha alleges that Parambir Singh masterminded the cover-up.

He stated, “Parambir Singh conducted a press conference filled with falsehoods to protect Aaditya Thackeray. The NCB’s investigation indicates Aaditya Thackeray’s involvement in drug-related activities, as noted in the FIR.”

Ojha also claimed that several senior police officials participated in the conspiracy by abusing police and government resources, fabricating police records, silencing witnesses, and attempting to conceal criminal evidence.

“I earnestly request that all of these actions be prosecuted under Sections 376(D), 302, 409, 120(B), 107, 109, 166, 167, and other relevant Sections of the IPC, and that strict measures be taken against the accused,” declared Ojha.

Previously, the CBI submitted a closure report in Disha Salian’s case, concluding that her demise was a suicide rather than murder.

The inquiry found no links between her death and Sushant Singh Rajput, suggesting that personal and professional pressures, including financial troubles and her father's alleged affair, might have led to her mental distress.

Despite numerous conspiracy theories, the CBI confirmed that there was no indication of foul play.

Nonetheless, a new petition has been filed contesting these conclusions.
