With the state elections just months away, the DMK has intensified its organizational efforts.
Through the “Udhanpirappae Vaa” outreach initiative, CM Stalin has been traveling to various constituencies to connect with party officials and bolster grassroots coordination. Concurrently, the party’s “Oraniyil Tamil Nadu” initiative has been actively recruiting new members throughout the state.
Initially, the goal for member enrollment was set at 30 percent of each booth’s voter base. However, in a bid to broaden the party’s outreach, Stalin later increased this target to 40 percent.
Though the membership drive is slated to conclude on August 15, party insiders indicate that it may be extended to optimize recruitment before the elections.
The upcoming meeting is anticipated to evaluate membership statistics, assess booth-level readiness, and explore strategies to incorporate new members into the party’s electoral framework.
Senior leaders believe that a robust and expanded membership base will be vital to the DMK’s electoral tactics. This high-level meeting exemplifies the DMK’s resolve to ensure no organizational voids exist as it gears up for a rigorous and competitive Assembly election showdown.
