Bengaluru, April 17 (NationPress) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid on the residence of dog breeder S. Satish in Bengaluru on Thursday, who claimed to possess a canine worth ₹50 crore.
According to sources, the ED has filed a complaint against Satish and is actively carrying out search and seizure operations.
This operation took place at his residence in J. P. Nagar.
However, evidence gathered during the raids revealed that Satish's assertions regarding the acquisition of the rare dog breed were unsubstantiated. Officials are currently examining his financial transactions, as well as income tax and GST records.
The ED has yet to release an official statement regarding the situation.
Notably, Satish asserted that he acquired a wolf-dog for ₹50 crore.
He has been involved with several dog breed associations and, although he ceased breeding dogs years ago, he occasionally participates in shows featuring rare breeds.
Previously, Satish claimed that he would charge a designated fee for attending any event with one of his rare dogs.
He mentioned earning approximately ₹2.5 lakh for a 30-minute appearance and around ₹10 lakh for a five-hour event.
He named the wolf-dog 'Cadabomb Okami', boasting that it is a unique breed, a hybrid of a wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd, and declared it the world’s most expensive wolfdog.
The wolf-dog was reported to weigh 75 kilograms and stand 30 inches tall at eight months of age at the time of purchase.
Satish showcased the wolfdog at numerous events, where thousands, including celebrities, admired the animal and took selfies.
He further claimed that his rare dog breeds attracted more attention than movie stars.
Additionally, Satish asserted he owned a 'Chow Chow' that resembled a red panda, maintaining that he housed these rare breeds at his farm in a large kennel.
Further details regarding the ED raid are anticipated.
