Patna, June 9 (NationPress) A disturbing event unfolded on Monday morning when three family members were shot in the Arfabad neighborhood, falling under the jurisdiction of the Alamganj police station in Patna, as reported by officials.
The shooting occurred around 9:15 a.m. while the victims—a husband, wife, and their daughter—were on their way to the local market. They were reportedly targeted by two assailants on a motorbike.
Patna City Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Atulesh Jha confirmed the incident, indicating that the woman and her daughter are in critical condition, whereas the husband suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.
The injured family members were swiftly transported to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) for urgent medical care, according to Jha.
