Five Arrested, Including Two Minors, for Shooting Incident in South Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) Five individuals have been apprehended, two of whom are minors, following a shooting incident in South Delhi that resulted in the injury of a young man, stated police officials.

The event transpired in Ambedkar Nagar on Sunday when a 20-year-old named Kunal, hailing from Madangir, sustained gunshot wounds and was subsequently admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, according to authorities.

A law enforcement officer reported that a used cartridge was recovered from the scene, prompting the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against the suspects.

The investigation led to the capture of Kamal, also known as Anna, and Shubham, both aged 23, along with Sahil, 22, and the two juveniles.

Authorities also confiscated two country-made pistols, a knife, and two motorcycles linked to the crime.

Initial inquiries indicated that the shooting was motivated by personal animosity, with the police officer stating that Anna sought vengeance after being assaulted by Kunal and his companion Sera during a previous confrontation.

According to the officer, Anna and Sahil have been identified as the shooters.
