Bhopal, Oct 23 (NationPress) A group of five football players from Vicharpur, a village in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, renowned internationally and affectionately dubbed 'Mini Brazil', recently had the incredible opportunity to undergo specialised football training in Germany.
The players, accompanied by their coach, traveled to Germany, where they were trained by professional German coaches who imparted invaluable football skills.
Sharing their experiences with IANS, they highlighted the comprehensive training they received, which included various levels of football techniques, technical abilities, and personalized coaching from seasoned professionals.
Footballer Suhani Kol expressed, "It was a dream come true to visit Germany. I learned numerous things that I couldn't have acquired back home. The extensive practice sessions and focused coaching made a significant impact on my skills."
Another football player, Pritam Kumar, remarked, "I picked up several new techniques and skills. It's essential for us to practice daily what we've learned and share these insights with aspiring players here. As a goalkeeper, I received training in diving and various goalkeeping techniques."
Coach Sania Kunde of Mini Brazil stated, "Visiting Germany was a fantastic experience. I learned many new techniques and the coaches emphasized enhancing our dribbling skills. Interacting with the locals was also a great part of the trip."
