New Delhi, Oct 26 (NationPress) In a significant achievement against organized crime, gangster Lakhvinder Kumar, known to be affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been deported from the United States and brought back to Delhi, according to a statement from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Upon landing at Delhi Airport on Saturday, he was immediately taken into custody by the Haryana Police.

Officials indicate that Lakhvinder is facing numerous criminal allegations in Haryana, which include extortion, intimidation, illegal possession of firearms, and attempted murder.

In response to a request from the Haryana Police, the CBI issued a Red Corner Notice against him via Interpol.

Thanks to coordinated efforts between the CBI, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), he was successfully deported from the US and returned to India.

The CBI confirmed that Lakhvinder Kumar is wanted by Haryana Police for various serious offenses, including extortion, intimidation, illegal firearm possession, and attempted murder.

Officials remarked that the Red Corner Notice was released through Interpol on October 26, 2024, at the request of the Haryana Police, and that he landed in India on October 25, 2025.
