New Delhi, Nov 19 (NationPress) Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed profound admiration for her "ideal" grandmother and former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, on the occasion of her birth anniversary on Wednesday. In her post on X, Priyanka stated, "Patriotism, compassion, strength, courage, dedication, and sacrifice -- a steely character molded by these qualities, which led the world to recognize India's power. She transformed the nation into a nuclear state and reinforced its infrastructure, solidifying India's foundation."

Earlier that day, Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, also honored Indira Gandhi, remarking that her patriotism and ethics inspire him to "combat injustice."
