This event occurred in Gandhinagar on Thursday, attended by Labour and Skill Development Minister Kunvarji Bavaliya.

The goal of this initiative is to introduce students to cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, equipping them for the growing job market in this field.

Under the Chief Minister's direction, the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department has initiated steps to modernize government ITIs with advanced technology pertinent to the rising electric vehicle sector, encompassing battery technology, electric powertrains, and embedded software.

Minister Bavaliya remarked, “Offering hands-on training in electric vehicle technology will provide students with practical experience, boosting their skills and job prospects in a sector that is rapidly evolving.”

The state government has allocated these electric vehicles to ITIs in accordance with syllabus needs, ensuring that students gain exposure to advanced technology while acquiring industry-relevant skills.

These cars will facilitate practical training, allowing students to cultivate self-sufficiency and expertise in operating electric vehicles.
