Moddar is located in the Ghed region, where the river remains full for eight months annually, rendering the road usable for only four months.

Nevertheless, the community continued to advocate for a bridge as a permanent fix. When the issue was presented again at the Chief Minister’s SWAGAT Programme, the long-awaited resolution finally emerged.
