He was joined by Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu.
During his visit, the Chief Minister honored the portrait of Ashutosh Ji, the leader of the Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan, seeking his blessings.
He conveyed his warm greetings to all the devotees present.
In his address, CM Saini remarked, “This auspicious day allows us to show gratitude to the great Gurus who have illuminated our lives with their wisdom and guidance.”
The Chief Minister also explored the Kamdhenu Gaushala situated within the Sansthan's grounds, participating in Gau Poojan and performing Gau Seva.
Furthermore, he paid respects at the Baba Mohan Dass Ashram in Jalandhar, honoring Baba Mohan Dass Maharaj.
“It brings me immense joy to see everyone gathered here to celebrate Guru Purnima. I have maintained a longstanding connection with Guru-ji and seek his blessings annually,” he stated.
“Today, we must also commit to the campaign of planting a tree as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ initiative. Our environment is deteriorating, and our dependence on air-conditioners is increasing. It’s crucial to plant trees in alignment with our Gurus’ teachings to combat climate change,” he added.
Later, the Chief Minister visited Dera Sachkhand Ballan in Jalandhar to pay his respects.
Throughout his visit, Chief Minister Saini sought blessings and acknowledged the enduring impact of Guru Ravidas and his teachings on equality, peace, and social harmony.
