Chandigarh, Sep 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, made significant contributions to the Panipat (Urban) Assembly constituency on Thursday by initiating essential development projects. He laid the foundation for a railway overbridge, which will be constructed at a substantial cost of Rs 70.42 crore, linking the old industrial zone with GT Road.
Another key initiative is a fire station center, set to be built for Rs 18.95 crore.
Moreover, he declared a budget of Rs 50 lakh for Bhagavad Gita Chowk and Rs 40 crore for the redevelopment of Palika Bazaar. The installation of CCTV cameras in Panipat town has also been proposed to enhance security and reduce crime.
During the event held in Panipat, the Chief Minister inaugurated the BJP District Office, named ‘Shyam Kamal’.
While addressing various requests from MLA Parmod Vij, CM Saini announced plans for an auto market in Panipat, contingent on land availability, along with a night shelter, accommodations for municipal employees, and a slaughterhouse.
He honored Deendayal Upadhyay by stating, “We should all draw inspiration from his devoted life dedicated to Antyodaya. He believed politics should serve as a means for social service, not just power.”
CM Saini emphasized that Haryana is the first state in India where all crops are procured at the minimum support price (MSP).
Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar noted that district offices are being established nationwide for BJP workers. He mentioned that various programs are being organized from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi until October 2 as part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’.
Khattar added, “Today, Haryana's economic situation is considerably improved within the nation.”
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda expressed his gratitude for the opening of the BJP District Office ‘Shyam Kamal’ in his constituency, highlighting it as a significant gift for grassroots workers equipped with modern amenities.
BJP state President Mohan Lal Badoli stated that there is currently no shortage of funds for development in the state, with projects progressing at an accelerated pace. He affirmed that promises regarding employment and development are being fulfilled.
