Jind, July 19 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed heartfelt appreciation towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, stating that the responsibility of Delhi has been entrusted to Rekha Gupta, hailing from Nandgarh, a quaint village in the state.
“Continue your dedicated service to the public and the nation, and steer Delhi towards unprecedented development,” CM Saini remarked.
As Delhi CM Rekha Gupta celebrated her 51st birthday in Nandgarh, she received warm wishes from PM Modi and other dignitaries, underscoring her unwavering commitment to public service. CM Saini noted that the political journey of his Delhi counterpart is a reflection of India’s evolving narrative.
“It’s genuinely inspiring to witness someone from a small village like Nandgarh ascend to the position of Chief Minister in a vast city like Delhi. This serves not just as motivation for women but also sends a resounding message that in modern India, success is achieved through hard work rather than inheritance.” He praised the “triple-engine government” led by the Prime Minister for propelling rapid development across the state.
“We are committed to fulfilling the trust the people have placed in our government for a third consecutive term. Following the Prime Minister's mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas, our administration is progressing with dedication and inclusiveness.” The Chief Minister spoke during an event held in Nandgarh village within the Julana Assembly constituency of Jind district.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also in attendance. CM Saini recollected the moment after the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed at the Centre in 2014 when PM Modi visited the historic land of Panipat on January 22, 2015, to launch the national campaign Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. Under the Prime Minister's leadership, significant progress has been made in empowering and uplifting daughters in Haryana.
“Today, public service is defined not by lineage but by dedication and hard work,” he stated. The Chief Minister highlighted that since 2014, development projects amounting to Rs 20,433 crore have been undertaken in the Julana Assembly constituency under the current government, while only Rs 202 crore were executed during the previous decade of Congress rule. He noted that 88 announcements have been made for the Julana constituency over the past ten years, with 85 completed, and work ongoing on the remaining. Furthermore, 628 announcements have been made for the Jind district, with 541 completed and progress continuing on the rest.
During the occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta commended the leadership and operational style of Haryana Chief Minister Saini, asserting that Haryana is accelerating on the path of development under his guidance. She emphasized that the vision for a Viksit Bharat can only be realized through a Viksit Haryana and Viksit Delhi. She remarked on the enhanced road infrastructure in Haryana, indicating that the improved road network is facilitating better transportation for the populace.
Gupta expressed confidence that Haryana will continue to reach new developmental milestones under Chief Minister Saini’s leadership. She also praised the Prime Minister’s leadership, stating that the BJP “is a true representation of democratic values, demonstrated by the fact that a daughter from a humble background has been afforded the opportunity to serve as Chief Minister.”
She shared her emotional bond with Nandgarh, referring to it as her birthplace, and conveyed her gratitude to the people of Haryana for their unwavering support during her electoral campaigns.
