The app enables timely financial assistance via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of beneficiaries. Through this app, applicants can also monitor their applications and the status of the scheme. The initiative aims to provide financial stability to citizens during distressing times.
The scheme is targeted at families registered under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) with an annual income not exceeding Rs 1.80 lakh.
Eligible families must apply for assistance on the portal within 90 days of an accident. Financial aid ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh is available for cases of death or permanent disability resulting from an accident.
Present at the announcement were Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Arun Gupta, CEO of Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas Jainder Singh Chhilar, and numerous senior officials.
