Chandigarh, Feb 13 (NationPress) - Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Thursday that in the aftermath of the municipal elections, numerous public development initiatives would be expedited, and new projects would also be launched at a quicker pace.

The Chief Minister made these statements during an event organized by party members in Narnaund town.

He called upon the workers to secure the success of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in the local elections and to advocate for the further advancement of the area.

In his speech, the Chief Minister took aim at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, recalling how during the elections in Delhi, he propagated several rumors, including the unfounded accusation that Haryana had “contaminated” the Yamuna river.

He pointed out that Kejriwal was originally from Haryana, a state renowned for its people's tenacity, capable of overcoming challenges and sharing prosperity with others.

He emphasized that the residents of Haryana are firmly grounded in Sanatan culture.

Chief Minister Saini noted that Kejriwal had boasted that he was unbeatable, but his fabrications could not compete with the assurances provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The citizens of Delhi demonstrated this by delivering a clear mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party, turning the Prime Minister’s vision into reality,” he declared.

The Chief Minister mentioned that voting in Haryana transpired on October 5, 2024, with results revealed on the eighth, where the BJP won 48 seats. A similar situation unfolded in Delhi, where 48 BJP candidates also triumphed.

While Kejriwal had vowed to clean the Yamuna over the past ten years, he has delivered nothing but empty promises, using the issue to elevate his own political stature, he remarked.

The Chief Minister encouraged party members to embrace any decisions made by the party regarding the local elections, highlighting the necessity of cohesion to guarantee the BJP’s success.
