Haryana Minister Engages at 'Samadhan Shivir', Listens to Issues from 32 Societies in Gurugram

Gurugram, Nov 30 (NationPress) Haryana's Industry and Commerce and Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh announced on Saturday that he conducted a public hearing to address 20 significant issues concerning 32 societies in the city during a Samadhan Shivir event.

He noted that the residential societies in Gurugram have paid 80 percent of their property tax to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG).

Each of these residential societies will receive Rs 10 lakh to invest in local development projects.

The Minister urged society residents to fulfill their property tax obligations to enable the municipal corporation to enhance development initiatives in their respective neighborhoods.

He assured residents that future development projects in their areas will prioritize their suggestions.

The Minister's address took place at the Samadhan camp organized at Shobha City in Sector-108 near the Dwarka Expressway.

"Badshahpur Assembly is the largest Assembly in Haryana. Given this, it is challenging for me to visit every society, but addressing the people's issues remains my top priority. To accommodate the numerous societies in the area, we decided to host a Samadhan camp at a central location," stated the BJP MLA.

During the camp, senior officials from the district administration and municipal bodies will address the public's concerns directly.

For issues that cannot be resolved immediately, officials will provide a timeline for their resolution.

The Minister emphasized that a government focused on serving the citizens has been established in Haryana under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, which is dedicated to solving problems with a goal of 'Antyodaya' (uplifting the most economically disadvantaged communities).

Regarding the issue of property IDs, Rao Narbir Singh stated that the government has recognized the problem and streamlined the process for obtaining property IDs.

He mentioned that residents can now create their property IDs using self-certified documentation.

The Minister also encouraged attendees to make Gurugram polythene-free.

He remarked that since Gurugram is a pivotal district in the National Capital Region (NCR), any impactful initiative taken here is likely to inspire similar actions in other districts.

He reassured residents that they do not need to travel to Chandigarh for assistance with their issues, as solutions will be provided in Gurugram, where they can meet him at his office.

This approach will save time, money, and fuel, benefiting the environment as well.

The Minister also addressed various complaints from the societies regarding electricity, encroachments, Najafgarh drain, green belt beautification, installation of CCTV cameras for security, city bus services, road renovations, drinking water supply, streetlights, drainage systems, traffic management, increased sports facilities, cleanliness efforts, enhanced police patrols for security, and improved health services in the area, directing the relevant officials from the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran, District Town Planner, Forest and Environment, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Sports, and Police departments.
