Jaipur, April 14 (NationPress) With dry weather persisting throughout Rajasthan, temperatures have continued to escalate. Barmer has recorded the highest temperature in the state, reaching an intense 44.0 degrees Celsius, which is 5 degrees above the normal level.
The lowest temperature was noted in Sangaria at 19.6 degrees Celsius. Observations made at 8.30 a.m. indicated that average humidity levels across various regions were between 20 per cent and 50 per cent. As per the Meteorological Centre, the impact of the previous western disturbance has concluded, leading to a new heatwave that is forecasted to commence on Monday.
Daytime maximum temperatures could rise by as much as 5 degrees, with dry weather expected to continue for the next 4-5 days.
A new heatwave is anticipated to start in western Rajasthan from April 14. The heatwave's intensity is projected to significantly increase on April 15 and 16, impacting numerous areas in the Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Shekhawati regions.
